YEAR 2 WENT TO THE ZOO

On 26th of June 2009 we went to the zoo. First we sat in the coach and it took us one hour to get to London Zoo. When we got to London Zoo first we saw the fish. They looked beautiful to me. Next we saw the gorillas. They were very huge and black. After that we saw a real rain forest. In the rain forest I saw a yellow monkey and a brown and a very big orange chimpanzee. Then we saw the penguins. They were tired and hot because they were not swimming in the water. Before we saw the penguins we saw the New Zealand pigs. They were so muddy. Meanwhile we walked to the lion who is a nocturnal animal. He was so lazy because he was sleeping. Next I saw a stripy tiger he was sleeping too because it is a nocturnal animal that means they are awake at night and sleep in the day. Next we saw the zebras and giraffes. The giraffe had a very tall neck like a tree. The zebra was very stripy and the cage was a bit smelly. After wards we went to see the reptiles.  I saw a very long snake. Before I saw the lion I saw a leopard.   It was time to go home so then after wards we had a little rest on the benches. Mrs Sharma and Kajani’s dad brought goodie bags. When we sat in the coach it was 3:50 pm then it was 4:10 Pralaad said “It is home time bye bye”. Finally we went back to school. Our parents were already there waiting for us. We had great fun at the zoo and at night I was dreaming about different animals.
