Inclusion & SEND at Beaconsfield
Beaconsfield Primary School is a fully inclusive community school where all pupils are encouraged to BELIEVE in themselves, PERSEVERE with all work and activities to achieve SUCCESS in all they do. The school also has a 21 place ‘Additional Resource Provision (ARP) Unit’ for pupils who have an EHCP. Most pupils in our ARP have a primary need of ASD or Speech Language and Communication needs.
We have our own on-site speech therapist (2 days weekly), occupational therapist (1 day) , counsellor (1 day) and access to educational psychologist as required. Pupils also benefit from access to our purpose built sensory room, soft-play room, ARP playground and accessible facilities in the ‘new’ building.
