Equality and Diversity Parents Working Group

We recognise and value working in close partnership with parents and carers in all aspects of school life.

The aim of this working group is to gather feedback from parents and carers about what is already in place to promote equality and diversity in school and to work in partnership with us to review our policies and identify what further work needs to be done.  We listen carefully to what you share and use it to help shape our next steps in improving race equality across the school.

We appreciate that talking about experiences linked to race can feel deeply personal. The meetings are a respectful, supportive and welcoming space and anything shared is treated with care and used to help improve the school.

Parents and carers are welcome to bring a family member or friend to the meeting for support or to help with translation. Alternatively, please let us know if you would like us to arrange for a staff member to be present who can help with translation and we will do our best to arrange this.
