Parents and Carers

We believe that parents and carers have the right to be fully involved in the education of their child and we recognise and value the significant contribution that they make to the academic, emotional and social development of our pupils.

All staff use a range of opportunities to develop positive relationships with parents and carers that enable clear, honest and relevant information to be shared which is aimed at supporting learning and the development of good learning and social behaviours. Formal opportunities will include Parents Open Evenings, termly mentoring meeting reports, annual end of year reports and meetings organised at the request of either school or parents/carers.  However we believe that informal opportunities such as at the end of each school day, on educational visits and through extended schools opportunities are of equal importance. We also look to support our parents and carers in developing learning opportunities at home through the use of regular workshops and adult learning courses.

We hope you will find all the information you need on our website but please do not hesitate to ask your child's class teacher, the school office or a member of the Senior Leadership Team if you require any further information.
