Supporting Learning at Home

Home learning opportunities are everywhere! Counting, reading, blending and segmenting (in phonics) can all be done when walking down the street, sitting at the kitchen table, driving in the car or whilst you’re picking up a few things from the local shops.

At Beaconsfield Primary School, our aim is to enable you to be in the best possible position to support your child with their learning at home. Please  visit the document Support for Parents in EYFS to learn about a range of valuable tools and ideas to support learning across the curriculum.

It is important that you visit and explore the information and activities yourself before you begin to use them with your child.

Staff at school are always happy to further explain the activities or provide any other support you would like with home learning.
